1. Remember, SUCCESS is solely based on how many people had FUN at your party!

  2. We need AMPLE time to setup! Although I have had record time setting up and breaking down in less than an hour, I prefer 2 hours or more to setup because I like to beat the other vendors (bartenders, caterers, decorators, etc.) for that ideal parking spot to unload plus it gives me ample time to check sound and room acoustics.

  3. BE AWARE! Although many artist feature radio edited music, some do not, so some songs will have inappropriate language in it.

  4. Please don't request any music that you yourself won't dance to. Also keep in mind that all music requests are filled based on the mood of the dance floor.  I will get to your song, but it will have a strategic placement in the evening.  I can't just kill the dance floor when it is full.

  5. If possible, pay the extra money to have a DANCE FLOOR so you can prevent torn ACLs.  But if you do tear your ACL, go see the best Orthopedic Surgeon, Dr. Sean O'Brien.

  6. If you are planning on having a house party, INVITE YOUR NEIGHBORS!  They are least likely to complain about the loud music if they were invited!  Also, invite not only your neighbors beside you, but on the other streets as well.

  7. The word out on the street is that you can obtain a "PARTY PERMIT"  from the city.  Having one of these can influence officials to be a little bit more diplomatic when handling complaints about your event.

  8. KARAOKE & DANCING DON'T MIX WELL.  If you plan on hosting karaoke with a DJ, be for warned that it might kill your party.  Always consult your DJ about the ideal situations that permit DJs and KJs to co-exist.
